I have finally joined the world of blogging. (Huzzah’s are in order)
I am here because I would like to share my knowledge on the Fitness Industry, Nutrition, and Star Wars (of course).
So first I will tell you a little about myself:
I have my B.S. in Kinesiology from S.U.N.Y. Cortland
I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA
I am Functional Movement Screen Certified (more on this later)
And I am a Certified Personal Trainer
These were obviously put in the order of importance and credibility because lets face the facts, any person in today’s society can go out and get a personal training certification. All it takes is a little reading and a basic online course and BAM your a “trainer”.
OKAY, enough ranting…..
A little more about myself, I enjoy music (maybe a little too much), and I love, love, LOVE Deadlifting. I find it to be the best “Bang for your Buck” exercise. No other exercise (with the exception of Olympic Lifts) requires as much muscle recruitment and stability as the deadlift.
